Teething

Body

Teething is a natural process for your baby so you should not be overly concerned about it. Being aware of the symptoms associated with teething will help ease your baby through the process. Extra cuddles and play time can help distract your little one from teething.

When do babies start teething?

Every baby is different when it comes to teething. Some are born with teeth, some start as early as 4 months, but most begin around 6 months.

What are the symptoms of teething?

Teething can differ for each baby. Common signs include sore gums, a red cheek, drooling, mild fever, and trouble sleeping.

What treatments are available for teething?

Every baby is different so you may have to try different things to find what works for your baby. Painkillers like paracetamol and ibuprofen can help with teething pain. Teething rings, gels, and powders can also be useful. Our pharmacist can recommend treatment options for your little one.
